Mission
In 2015, Ed, Edd n Eddy creator Danny Antonucci quietly revived his company A.K.A. Cartoon, Inc. after six years of dormancy. It comes to mind that, like most companies that make a comeback, they require a refreshed brand of sorts.

Vision
When designing the brand for the new A.K.A. tag, I wanted to make a logo that matched the magic of the logo fans were accustomed to. The drawing. The violence. The weird text. The few seconds of sheer chaos that occurs at the end of every EEnE episode.
But I wanted to make it... a bit balanced. A mix between order and chaos that is strangely satisfying to its viewers.
My idea was to implement water and bubbling into the logo and somehow still make it the same as it looked from 1999 to 2009 - a small update that doesn't change the formula to the overall concept. I also noticed that parts of the original drawing were missing. Those have since been restored.
The loud trumpet screech by Patric Caird that served as A.K.A.'s jingle wasn't required, but I added a variant for it anyway in case.
I noticed Antonucci gave good feedback on the tag. I don't know if he will use it for future projects, but rest assured that if he does, it will be used in tandem with the pre=existent A.K.A. logo with the red circle. I also made a "family-friendly" version in case Disney and Nickelodeon give A.K.A. a call.
